The Florence Little Theatre presents Crossing Delancey by Susan Sandler. Directed by John and Pam Rooks. Crossing Delancey is a charming comedy about the new world clashing with old world traditions. Isabelle is a young woman who lives alone and works in a book shop. She considers herself a modern woman, independent and free to live her life as she pleases with or without a man. When she is not pining after the handsome author, Tyler, she is visiting her grandmother in Manhattan's Lower East Side. This delightfully nosey grandmother and her friend, Hannah, the matchmaker, have found a "good catch" for Isabelle - Sam, the handsome pickle vendor. Traditional values clash with modern times in this romantic comedy that will have you laughing and will touch your heart! Crossing Delancey is a production all ages can enjoy together.
