The Florence Museum's Pee Dee Regional Art Competition is the longest running annual art competition in South Carolina. This juried competition promotes and encourages visual art and artists from twelve counties in the northeastern part of the state. Past winners include photographer Dinah Hall, sculptor Mike Fowle, mixed media artist Denise Greer and painter Jack Cayton. Prizes will be awarded to three place-winners and four honorable mentions, plus a People's Choice award decided on the night of the opening reception.
